“So Long, London” is the fifth song from Taylor Swift’s 2024 album “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT”, which was released in May 2024.

The synth-pop song is allegedly about Swift’s English ex boyfriend Joe Alwyn, whom Swift was in a relationship with from 2016 to 2023. Throughout the track, Swift strongly suggests that the downfall of the relationship was Alwyn’s struggle with his mental health, their lifestyle relationships and his unreadiness to be married. Swift is bitter that sad that she will no longer be able to view London, a place they were together often, with a positive lens.

“So Long, London” is certified Gold in Australia.

The lyric video was uploaded to YouTube on the 20th April 2024.
