“loml” is the twelfth track from the deluxe version of Taylor Swift’s 2024 album, “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY”, which was released in April 2024 to critical acclaim.
A piano ballad tinged with love and loss, “loml” is Swift retelling a past relationship and its eventual end, stating that her previous lover was a conman and a liar. He tells her that she is the “love of my life”, which is the title of the song but as an acronym. She concludes that this lover was not in fact the love of her life, but the loss of her life.
