“The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” is the fourteenth track from Taylor Swift’s 2024 album “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT”  released through Sony Music and Universal Music in April 2024.

In the song, Swift expresses her disappointment for a previous ex, which many believe could be Joe Alwyn or Matty Healy. She accuses the lover of intentionally wanting to upset her, implying that they enjoying hurting people, and asking him if he is the smallest man who ever lived. Swift also opens up the song with questioning whether any of the love they shared was ever true or genuine.
