The meaning behind Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER"

“BIRDS OF A FEATHER” is the fourth track from Billie Eilish’s 2024 album “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT”, which was released on the 17th May 2024 through Darkroom/Interscope Records.

The catchy modern love ballad sees Eilish express her devotion and loyalty to her lover, even when they’ve both long gone. The song was first previewed on the 13th May 2024 through a teaser trailer for an upcoming season of Netflix’s LGBTQ+ show “Heartstopper”.

In an interview with Apple Music after the release of the album, Eilish revealed that “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” contains the highest belt of her career.
