“Paint The Town Red” is the second single from rapper, singer and songwriter Doja Cat and her upcoming fourth studio album, which is due to be released later this year. “Paint The Town Red” was released on the 4th August 2023 through Kemosabe and RCA Records.

The hip-hop song opens with Dionne Warwick’s iconic 1963 track “Walk On By”, with the main beat from the song being sampled all throughout. Lyrically, Doja Cat challenges listeners and fans alike to argue with some of her past statements and comments, displaying an unfaltering confidence and lack of care around the consequences of her comments.

The music video was released on the 4th August 2023 and was directed by Nina McNeely. In 10 days, the video had over 9 million views.
