Reflections Laughing

The Weeknd

Album Hurry Up Tomorrow

“Reflections Laughing” is an electronic infused R&B track by The Weeknd, featuring rapper Travis Scott and group Florence + The Machine. It appears as the ninth song on The Weeknd’s sixth album “Hurry Up Tomorrow”, which was released through XO and Republic Records on the 31st January 2025.

In “Reflections Laughing”, we see The Weeknd and Travis Scott reflect on the duality of fame, self-criticism and vulnerability. The track begins with The Weeknd breaking down the intense highs but also intense lows of stardom, leading to him getting a call from a woman (Chxrry22), where she checks in on the rapper after one of her friends saw his latest show and was concerned for his well-being. Listeners can hear Chxrry22 and her voice slowly fade into the background, while The Weeknd finishes his drink.

The song has been received positively by fans and critics alike.
