I Heard You’re Married

The Weeknd

Album Dawn FM

I Heard You’re Married” is the fourteenth track from Canadian rapper and singer The Weeknd and his fifth studio album titled “Dawn FM“, which was released in January 2022. The synth-pop song features vocals from American rapper Lil Wayne.

“I Heard You’re Married” is the 14th song from the rapper’s latest album, and features songwriting from critically acclaimed DJs such as Calvin Harris and Max Martin. The song was originally due to be released as the third single from the album, with disco-inspired “Sacrifice” being the second, but was changed at the last minute. Lyrically, the track sees The Weeknd describe a relationship he is in to a woman who’s married, singing about the perspective of being a side lover, while Lil Wayne’s verse sees him state to said woman that he cannot be her side man, but has to be her husband and not something she keeps private.

There is no official music video for “I Heard You’re Married“, but the official lyric video was uploaded to The Weeknd’s YouTube channel on the 7th January 2022. As of late February 2022, the video had over 4.6 million views and 146 thousand likes.
