How I Look On You

“How I Look on You” is pop singer Ariana Grande’s fourth contribution to the 2019 Charlie’s Angels: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album.

“How I Look on You” was written by Grande and three other individuals: Savan Kotecha, Max Martin and ILYA. The track revolves around Grande question her lover’s true intentions and goals, and whether he is with her because of who she is, or for her as an individual. This is further emphasized in the second verse when he starts to garner publicity and gets asked to magazine shoots. “Cover on a magazine in just two weeks / “Boy to Watch”, ain’t he just, just too sweet? / Now he ain’t even got time for me”. Many of Grande’s fans have speculated that the song is a diss about Grande’s ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson – however this has been neither confirmed nor denied.

There is currently no official music video for the track, but the audio upload on Ariana Grande’s official YouTube channel has over 1.2 million views and over 75,000 likes since its upload on the 31st October 2019.
