We’re Good

“We’re Good” is a pop track from Dua Lipa and the reissue of her second studio album “Future Nostalgia: The Moonlight edition”, which was released in March 2021. “We’re Good” was released in February 2011, and was written by Dua Lipa, , Sylvester Willy Sivertsen, Emily Warren and Scott Harris, with Sly in charge of production.

“We’re Good” sees Dua Lipa dreaming of a smooth and amicable breakup with her partner, hoping they won’t turn against her or perhaps display predictable behaviours. The song is slower that Lipa’s usual sound which could be described as electro-pop, and is substituted with a sound that is more tropical-pop.

The music video was uploaded to Lipa’s official YouTube channel on the 12th February 2021, and was directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia. The video shows Lipa performing on a stage while customers are served lobster. One lobster from a tank is almost chosen to be a guest’s dinner, however there is a change at the last minute. Towards the end of the video, viewers are shown that Lipa was performing on the Titanic, and she is singing on a life raft as the lobsters swim back into the ocean. As of late May 2021, the video has over 55.1 million views with over 845 thousand likes.
