“Dance The Night (From Barbie The Album)” is the first single from the upcoming 2023 film “Barbie”. It is the movie soundtrack’s lead single, and is a disco song written by Andrew Wyatt, Caroline Ailin, Dua Lipa and Mark Ronson, with Wyatt, Ronson and the Picard Brothers in charge of production.

Lyrically, the song details Lipa’s ability to dance through any hardship, pain or sadness and not show it on her face. The music video features a cameo from the movie’s director: Greta Gerwig. The music video was released on the 26th May 2023, and had a total of 35.2 million views as of the 13th June 2023.

The “Barbie” film marks Lipa’s first acting gig, and is released on the 21st July 2023.
