“Scared To Live” is the fourth track from The Weeknd and his fourth studio album, “After Hours”, which was released on the 20th March 2020 along with the full album. However, The Weeknd originally premiered the song live on SNL on the 8th March 2020.
Written by The Weeknd, Ahmad Balshe (Belly), Max Martin, Bernie Taupin, Elton John, Oscar Holter and Daniel Lopatin; “Scared To Live” is a track about The Weeknd’s previous relationship with Bella Hadid, and how he wants her to move on to a better individual. Elton John is credited on the songwriting credits as “Scared To Live” interpolates John’s well loved track, “Your Song”.
There is currently no music video for “Scared To Live”, but the audio upload on The Weeknd’s YouTube channel has 1.1 million views and 50 thousand likes.
