“Plastic Doll” is the ninth track from Lady Gaga’s sixth studio album “Chromatica”, and was released on the 29th May 2020. “Plastic Doll” was written by Gaga, BloodPop, Skrillex, Yacoub and Jacob “Jkash” Hindlin.
“Plastic Doll” is a disco/house song where Gaga compares the objectification of her body with that of a Barbie doll, discussing the societal stress that woman are made to in order to look pleasing to the public gaze. In “Plastic Doll”, Gaga admits playing into that type of character, but insists it must change.
There is currently no music video for “Plastic Doll”, but the audio video on YouTube has over 2.4 million views.
