“In Your Eyes” is the 10th track from Canadian singer and songwriter The Weeknd’s (Abel Tesfaye) fourth studio album, “After Hours”. The highly-anticipated album was released on the 20th March 2020.
“In Your Eyes” was written by The Weeknd, rapper Belly, Max Martin and Oscar Holter, with Martin, Holter and The Weeknd also producing the song. “In Your Eyes” references The Weeknd’s on-and-off relationship with supermodel Bella Hadid. The Weeknd discusses his remorse about being unfaithful to a partner in a previous relationship. The track is a different sound for The Weeknd, drawing heavily from the sounds of the 80’s, with a first appearance of a saxophone solo in his tracks, which was played by Wotjek Goral.
There is currently no music video for “In Your Eyes” but the official audio upload on The Weeknd’s YouTube channel has 1.4 million views and over 78 thousand likes.
