Story of Song The stories behind the hits Novellic

“Hollywood” is one among many of American musician Lana Del Rey’s unreleased songs. Originally one of the outtakes from her 2012 album “Born To Die”, “Hollywood” was written by Lana Del Rey with production done by Rick Nowels.

“Hollywood” is a song about Hollywood, a famous place in Los Angeles in California. Del Rey romanticises the area, building it up in her own head. On livestream on Instagram on the 27th July 2017, Del Rey actually discussed the unreleased song when a fan asked her about another song of hers, “Hollywood’s Dead”. Del Rey stated: “Actually, there was a song, ‘Hollywood’, that got [leaked] with the wrong production”, and Del Rey goes on to state that she would like to release the track officially in the future.

There is no official music video for the song, as it has not been officially released. A YouTube user by the name of “Sneha Haldankar” uploaded the song to the website on the 28th November 2017. As of February 2020, the video has 92 thousand views with 2.3 likes.
