“You Can Be The Boss” was one of the many unreleased songs from American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. “You Can Be The Boss” was co-written by Del Rey and The Flight (Joe Henson and Alexis Smith), as well The Flight producing the song.

The trak was originally uploaded to Del Rey’s now defunct SoundCloud account on the 22nd March 2020. The song was originally supposed to appear on her 2012 album “Born To Die”. It is another strong fan favourite, with Del Rey performing the track at live concerts while promoting her “Born To Die” album.

There is a music video uploaded by LizzyGrantTV (Lana Del Rey’s real name) which is rumoured to be Del Rey’s account. Uploaded on the 29th August 2017, it features muted colour videos of Del Rey singing to a camera, intertwined with footage of buildings, fireworks and the sky from various movies, films, cartoons and other forms of media. This video has over 39 thousand views on YouTube, with an audio upload by a user named “imlonelytoo”, gathering 4.6 million views for their lyrics to the track.
