This song is about hope. ‘Bibia Be Ye Ye’ means All will be well, it is in Twi language which spoken in Ghana. Sheeran wrote this song in Ghana with the 2013 ‘Antenna’ song artist Nana Richard Abiona aka Fuse ODG. He invited Sheeran to Ghana back in 2016, where the Sheeran spent 3 weeks there. Whenever they would finish a song, Fuse and 200 people would just keep playing it all night.
Speaking about this fun experience, In an interview on BBC Radio 1 Extra, Sheeran talked about writing the song with Fuse in Ghana, he said: “I wrote a song in Twi, the Ghanaian dialect in Ghana, at Fuse’s house with all his mates. That was probably the most fun experience because like…being in the studio with someone like Fuse is just a party the whole time.”

    My wife is Ghanaian and I can tell you that if you haven’t visited Ghana 🇬🇭 to put it on your bucket list. Ghana is a beautiful Country, with amazing food, culture and its people – always happy & celebrate life! Ed Sheeran’s song about Hope hits home for Ghanaians. 👍🏻
