“TV in Black & White” is one of Lana Del Rey’s unreleased songs that did not make Del Rey’s 2012 album, “Born To Die”. The song was believed to have been recorded in 2011, and is written by Lana Del Rey and Rick Nowels, who also produced the track.
“TV in Black & White” is a track about Del Rey reminiscing a strong love with a man who is suggested to be in jail. Del Rey uses the metaphor of her life without him being that of a “TV in black and white”. Lana Del Rey has previously stated that “TV in Black & White” is one of her favourite unreleased songs.
There is no official music video for the song, however a fanmade music video for the track exists on YouTube, uploaded by user Agnes Lubenaldi in August 2019. As of mid-February 2020, the video has almost 45 thousand views and over 1.2 thousand likes.
