“Fortnight” is the opening track from American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and her eleventh studio album “THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT”, which was released in mid April 2024 through Republic Records. The slow electro-pop track features American rapper and singer Post Malone, marking another collaboration between the two artists.

“Fortnight” is a track about what could have been, where Swift alludes to a quick but passionate affair with a lover who she is now is in close proximity with. The song is a pre-cursor to many of the other songs on the album, with themes such as longing, reminiscing and past love.
