Younger And Hotter Than Me

Selena Gomez

Album I Said I Love You First

“Younger And Hotter Than Me” is the second track from Selena Gomez and benny blanco’s collaborative album “I Said I Love You First”. The album was released on the 21st March 2025 through SMG Music LLC, Friends Keep Secrets & Interscope Records.

“Younger And Hotter Than Me” is a slow piano ballad that sees Gomez discuss themes of unrequited love, isolation and the fear of becoming undesirable. However, many fans have been quick to point out that the song is discussing Gomez’s tumultuous relationship with the industry, and struggling to keep up with its ever-changing demands. This theory could possibly be correct as the video shows Gomez on a set in Hollywood that she explores throughout the day.

In a post on Instagram, Gomez stated that the song was special to both her and Blanco:

“I equally love the softer, quieter, more introspective parts of us. You can hear that side in ‘Younger and Hotter Than Me.’ It’s a special song for both of us, and the music video will be out tonight with the album 🖤”
