“‘tis the damn season” is the fourth track from Taylor Swift and he latest album “evermore”, which was released through Republic Records on the 11th December 2020. Like most songs on the album, the song was written by Swift and producer Aaron Dessner, with Dessner credited for production.
“‘tis the damn season” is a Christmas indie song that features Swift telling the tale of a lover in a hometown, and who an unnamed character always ends up with when she returns home. The character in that song is later deemed to be named “Dorothea”, which is also the title of the eighth song on the album.
There is currently no music video for “‘tis the damn season”, however there is an official lyric video available on Taylor Swift’s YouTube channel. Since its upload on the 11th December 2020, the lyric video currently has over 2.7 million views with 123 thousand likes.
