“There’d Better Be A Mirrorball” is the latest and lead single from English indie-rock band Arctic Monkeys and their upcoming seventh studio album: “The Car”. The album is due to be released on the 21st October 2022 through Domino Records.

Written by frontman Alex Turner, the jazz-influences ballad sees Turner admit defeat on a failing relationship, with a unusual tone of plea and almost a sense of desperation within the chorus – an unusual turn for the Arctic Monkeys.

The music video for the song was directed by Turner himself and uploaded to the Arctic Monkeys official YouTube channel on the 30th August 2022. In 3 days, the video had received a total of over 3.3 million views.
