Album Sports car (Single)

“Sports car” is the 2025 single from Canadian singer Tate McRae.

It is an electropop track that takes inspiration from the early sounds of 2000s pop it girls, such as Britney Spears and The Pussycat Dolls.

“Sports Car” sees Tate use vehicles and cars to convey her sexual desire and her not wanting to be in a serious relationship. McRae has stated that it was “such a fun song to write”, and follows the theme of McRae’s recent tracks being about female sexuality and power.
