“She” is one of the many tracks by rappers Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean. The track appears on Tyler’s debut studio album “Goblin”, which was released in 2011 through Odd Future and XL Records.
Written by both Tyler and Ocean, “She” explores themes of obsession, lust and stalking, with Ocean playing the role of a man who sees Tyler outside his lover’s window. Tyler plays the role of the stalker, with his lyrics graphically explaining his true lust and desires.
The music video for “She” was uploaded to YouTube via the OFWGKTA channel on the 4th June 2011 and was directed by Tyler, The Creator. The music video shows Ocean play as a lover, a father and a lead policeman for a young woman in the video. Tyler plays a crazed stalker, who breaks into the lover’s house to start at her in a goblin mask and black contacts. The video ends with Tyler admitting his love to the young lover, and ends up getting arrested, As of late October 2020, the video has 66.9 million views and over 462 thousand likes.
