Too Sweet

“Too Sweet” is the hit single from Irish singer-songwriter Hozier and his EP “Unheard”, which was released in March 2024 through Rubyworks.

The upbeat pop love ballad sees Hozier compare his lifestyle with his lover’s; both very different to one another. Hozier attempts to draw his lover to his lifestyle of staying up late, waking up at 3pm and more, but ultimately concluding that his lover is “too sweet” for him. The song is essentially Hozier refusing to compromise his way of life for his partner that he believes is too good for him. The track went viral on TikTok with millions of users using a snippet of the song for an online trend.

• 2x Platinum in Australia, New Zealand and the US

“Too Sweet” became Hozier’s first ever song to hit number one in Australia, Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, the UK and the US.
