“Super Freaky Girl” is the first solo release from Trinidadian-American rapper and singer Nicki Minaj in three years. Released on the 12th August 2022 through Young Money and Republic.

The pop-rap song strongly samples Rick James’ infamous 1981 single ‘Super Freak”, and features Minaj rapping about her sexual fantasises and abilities, as well as the successes she has had throughout her career. After its release, the song broke Spotify’s record for the biggest debut for a solo female rap song.

The official lyric video was uploaded to Minaj’s official YouTube channel on the 12th August 2022. As of the 21st August 2022, the video had almost 4 million views.
