“Strangers By Nature” is the opening track from British singer-songwriter Adele and her critically acclaimed album “30”, released on the 19th November 2021 through Melted Stone and Columbia Records.
“Strangers By Nature” sets a tone for the rest of the “30” album, with Adele reflecting on her lovers both past and present, and her learning to accept some mistakes she may have made in the past. Co-writing with Oscar-winning Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson (who worked on the Black Panther film with musician and actor Childish Gambino), the duo created the track after Adele had watched “Judy”, the Judy Garland biopic, and became inspired by the type of songs and music in the film. Speaking to Rolling Stone Magazine in November 2021, Adele revealed that the order of the songs in the album was important, as it was almost a chronological list of events that she was representing in song.
The official lyric video was uploaded to Adele’s YouTube channel on the 19th November 2021. As of late December 2021, the video has over 3.7 million views.
