“Oh My God” is the fifth track from British singer-songwriter Adele and her fourth studio album “30”, which was released on the 19th November 2021 through Columbia Records and Melted Stone Records. This album marks the end of a 6 year hiatus for Adele. “30” sees Adele discuss heartbreak, parenthood and the pressures of fame.
“Oh My God” is by far Adele’s most upbeat song to date, with R&B influences mixed in with Adele’s incredible vocals. The track sees Adele attempting to flirt after leaving her seven year relationship with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, going through the motions of a divorce and heartbreak – with the addition of raising a child while being in the public eye all around the world. “Oh My God” sees Adele almost speaking to herself, dealing with inner turmoil with her desire to have fun romantically, but still feeling emotionally attached to her previous partner.
