“Slime You Out” is the lead single from Drake’s highly anticipated eighth studio album “For All The Dogs”, which is due to be released on the 6th October 2023 through OVO and Republic Records. The track features SZA, and marks the first collaboration between the two artists.
The R&B track sees both singers discuss being used by their past lovers, as well as sharing their own personal thoughts and feelings about love. The term “slime one out” means to use someone for their sexual benefits, which both Drake and SZA discuss when referring to their tendencies towards the opposite gender.
The official audio video was uploaded to Drake’s YouTube channel on the 15th September 2023. In 5 days, the video had 3 million views and 18 million global streams on Spotify alone.
