Rich Baby Daddy (feat. Sexyy Red & SZA)

Drake

Album For All The Dogs

“Rich Baby Daddy” is the twentieth track on Drake’s eighth studio album “For All The Dogs”, which was released on the 13th October 2023 through OVO and Republic Records.

The track samples independent artist Jessica Domingo and features rappers SZA (whom Drake previously collaborated with for “Slime You Out” on the same album) and Sexyy Red, with the latter marking this track her first time working with both SZA and Drake.

“Rich Baby Daddy” sees Drake pine after an unavailable woman, trying to persuade her to leave her current boyfriend behind and move on with him, as well as convincing her that their life together could be bigger and better than with her partner.

The track’s songwriting credits mention Florence Welch – from Florence + The Machine – as the song interpolates their hit track “Dog Days Are Over”.

The audio video had a total of 20.8 million views as of the 25th January 2023.

As of the 25th January 2024, “Rich Baby Daddy” had received Gold certification in New Zealand and Silver in the United Kingdom.
