Only Human

“Only Human” is the third track from American pop group Jonas Brothers and their fifth studio album “Happiness Begins”, which was released in June 2019. It is the group’s first album as a band since 2013.

The Jonas Brothers were formed in 2005, and gained popularity from their work on Disney Channel, and consists of Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas. “Only Human” was written by the band and writer Johan Schuster, who also produced the track. The song’s premise is fairly simple, detailing a night out filled with dancing, and the Jonas Brothers asking their love interest to stay with them throughout the night. The track features elements of reggae-pop and slow pop.

The music video was directed by Anthony Mandler, and was released on the 13th August 2019. It features the Jonas Brothers dancing to the track on a stage, with 80’s set design and clothing, as well as a VHS style video effect overlaid on the video. As of early January 2020, the video has over 25 million views and over 482 thousand likes.
