Ariana Grande

Album Dangerous Woman

“Let Me Love You” is the 2016 rap-pop track from American pop artist Ariana Grande and American rapper Lil Wayne. The song is the sixth track to appear on Grande’s critically acclaimed album: “Dangerous Woman”, which was also released in 2016.

Written by Grande, Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter), Steven Franks, Tommy Brown and Victoria Monét, “Let Me Love You” is an empowering breakup track, detailing a romantic relationship she is enjoying after breaking up with her ex-partner. The track is rumoured to have been about her breakup with Jai from the band Janoskians, however this has been neither confirmed or denied by Grande.

The music video for the track was released on the 22nd May 2016 on YouTube, and was directed by Grant Singer. It mainly features Grande lying on a bed dressed in heels and a bodysuit, while Lil Wayne appears for his verse, dancing with Grande and smoking. As of December 2019, the video has over 246.6 million views and over 1.6 million likes.

The track is certified Gold in Poland and Platinum in Brazil.
