Into You

“Into You” is one of pop musician Ariana Grande’s most successful and well known songs from her 2016 album, “Dangerous Woman”. Written by Grande, Savan Kotecha, Max Martin, Alexander Kronlund and Ilya Salmanzadeh, it is a song about Grande waiting for her love interest to make a move on her, as she is infatuated by him, or rather, into him.

Grande has a history of working with Kotecha, Martin, Salmanzadeh and Kronlund helped craft hits such as “Break Free”, “Problem” and “Bang Bang” – some of Grande’s most successful singles.

The music video was released on YouTube on the 23rd May 2016 and was directed by Hannah Lux Davis – a director Grande often works with. It features Grande and a guest star Don Benjamin as her lover, in a motel in a desert, riding on the back of his motorcycle. Towards the end of the video, a party shows that Benjamin is the bodyguard of Grande’s current partner. Grande leaves, with Benjamin following her. As of December 2019, the video has over 738.1 million views and 3.8 million likes.
