How To Be Lonely

“How To Be Lonely” is the latest single from British Singer Rita Ora, written by Peter Rycroft, Thomas Mann and singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, with production also done by Mann, Lostboy and aboutagirl.

The track was released on the 13th March 2020, and is a upbeat love ballad about learning to be alone and loving yourself and not needing a partner, rather wanting one. Lewis Capaldi recently told NME that the song was meant for him and his album, but ending up giving the song to Ora as he felt he was “f**king sh*te” at singing the song.

The music video was released on Ora’s YouTube channel on the 27th March 2020, and was directed by Dave Meyers, who has directed many other music videos for artists such as Taylor Swift. The video consists of Ora slipping on a hall of eggs, rolling around in a white dress, while being surrounded by couples kissing all around her, while she gets shot in the heart, along with scenes of her cuddling a bear and then the video ending when she pulls off a mask. As of mid-April 2020, the video has 3.1 million views with 95 thousand likes.
