“Don’t Go Yet” is the lead single from Camila Cabello’s third studio album “Familia”, and was released in 23rd July 2022. The latin-pop/salsa song was released through Epic Records and received Gold certification in Belgium, France, Portugal and Switzerland, as well as Silver in the UK and Platinum in Italy and Spain.

“Don’t Go Yet” sees Cabello asking her lover to spend the night with her, as well as more intimate fantasies that Cabello also details in the song. Speaking to Vulture magazine, Cabello reveald that both the song and its visuals were inspired by Cuban-Mexican family parties from her childhood, where everyone would “eat dinner […] after you put on a little cheap disco ball with lights and suddenly the living room is the dance floor.” The song was ranked at #32 on Cosmopolitan’s “The 55 Best New Songs of 2021” list, and one of NPR’s “Alt. Latino presents the best singles of 2021” list.

The music video for “Don’t Go Yet” was directed by Philippa Price and Pilar Zeta and premiered on Cabello’s YouTube channel on the 23rd July 2021. The video shows Cabello at a dinner party with various people, dancing and singing in bright and eccentric outfits. As of the 23rd April 2022, the video had a total of 73.1 million views and 874 thousand likes.
