“Man’s Best Friend” is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter. It was released on the 29th August 2025 through Island Records, under UMG Recordings.
The album is a blend of pop, funk and disco and charted at number one in multiple countries such as Ireland, UK and the US.
Prior to the album’s release, the cover sparked outrage, with many individuals complaining about the image’s submissive and dominant message. Many people said it was intended to be viewed as satirical, following a lot of the album’s satire filled tracks (“Tears”, being one example). This led to Carpenter releasing an alternative cover which she deemed was “approved by God”.
