Espresso

“Espresso” is the pop hit from American singer Sabrina Carpenter, which was released on the 12th April 2024 through Island Records.

On the track, Carpenter uses coffee as a metaphor for how her partner is obsessed with her and cannot sleep when he’s around her. Speaking to Vogue, Carpenter opened up about the song’s meaning and the power of femininity:

“The song is kind of about seeing femininity as your super power, and embracing the confidence of being that bitch.”

“Espresso” was performed at Coachella 2024 and received an overwhelmingly positive reaction both online and offline.

The music video for “Espresso” was released alongside the single on the 12th April 2024 through Carpenter’s YouTube channel.
