“Mamushi” is the tenth track from American singer and rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s third studio album “MEGAN”, which was released on the 28th June 2024 through Stallion’s own record label Hot Girl Productions.
The hip-hop song features Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba, marking the first collaboration between the two artists. Mamushi is a type of snake found in Japan, continuing the theme and references of snakes throughout the album (see tracks “COBRA” and “HISS” ) and Megan shedding her skin like a snake would, revealing a new identity and era in her life. Lyrically, “Mamushi” sees Yuki Chiba and Megan brag about their fame and wealth, with Stallion also rapping in Japanese.
The music video was released on the 28th June 2024 and was directed by Kevin “Onda” Leyva.
