“Little Lies” is the seventh track from British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac and their fourteenth album Tango in the Night”, which was released in 1987 through Warner Bros.

The pop rock song was written by the late Christine McVie and her then-husband Eddy Quintela, with McVie on lead vocals. Lyrically, the song sees McVie tell her lover that they are better off apart, asking them to tell her “sweet little lies” that they are better together.

“Little Lies” remains Fleetwood Mac’s last top 10 hit to this day.

The music video for “Little Lies” was filmed in 1987 and was directed by Dominic Sena. The video was uploaded to Fleetwood Mac’s YouTube channel in September 2017, and as of the 18th August 2023, the video had a total of 60 million views.

“Little Lies” has received Platinum certification in the UK.
