Family Man

Fleetwood Mac

Album Tango in the Night

“Family Man” is the eighth track from Fleetwood Mac’s 1987 album “Tango in the Night”, which was released through Warner Bros.

Like “Big Love” (which is also on the “Tango in the Night” album) “Family Man” was intended to be on Lindsey Buckingham’s third solo album, but ended up appearing in this one.

“Family Man” was nearly complete when Buckingham first showed the rest of Fleetwood Mac the song, with the band lifting the song a bit more with their vocals. As the title would suggest, the song is about the importance of being a family man, and Buckingham holding onto that title and making it his identity for the entirety of the song.

The official audio video had a total of 1.4 million views as of the 18th August 2023.
