“HOT TO GO!” is seventh track on American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan’s debut album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”. The song was released as a single on the 11th August 2023, with the album being released on the 22nd September 2023 through Amusement Records and Island Records.

Written by Chappell Roan and acclaimed songwriter and producer Daniel Nigro, “HOT TO GO!” is a fun and camp synth-pop track. The song sees Roan exclaim her desire to be intimate with another woman, claiming she is “hot to go”. The song has an accompanying dance which Roan breaks down the steps to in the pre-chorus. Speaking to NME, Roan admitted she simply wanted a “cheerleading style song” that she could have fans dance along to:

“I wanted a cheerleading song, I wanted something that I could do with the audience. Like, I was really jealous of the “Y.M.C.A.”. So, I made, “H-O-T-T-O-G-O”, a little dance that I can do with the audience. And fun fact, it’s actually a real cheer. But I made up my own cheer with that. But it’s fun, come to a show and I’ll teach you the dance.”

As of August 2024, “HOT TO GO!” has received Silver certification in the UK.
