“Borderline” was released on the 22nd April 2019, from Australian band Tame Impala and their upcoming 2020 album, “The Slow Rush”. “Borderline” is the leading single from “The Slow Rush” and is Tame Impala’s fourth studio album.
As with all songs from Tame Impala, “Borderline” was written and produced by Kevin Parker, the multi-instrumentalist behind the Australian band. “Borderline” was originally debuted on American late-night TV show “Saturday Night Live”, on the 30th March 2019 during the band’s performance on the show. “Borderline” is a slow psychedelic pop track about the end of a romantic relationships that is both wonderful and awful, but ultimately toxic for those involved.
There is currently no music video for the song, but the official audio of the track has 16.3 million views since its upload in April 2019. The song also has 62.4 million plays on Spotify.
