Blu

“Blu” is the fifth and final track from BENEE’s second EP, “STELLA & STEVE”, and was released on the 15th November 2019. “Blu” was written by Josh Fountain, Jenna Andrews and BENEE, with production done by Fountain.

“Blu” is a soft indie track about a wrong partner in a relationship, who constantly makes BENEE feel sad and blue, and how she was only interested in such a toxic person because she was down within herself.

The video was released on the 17th December on BENEE’s YouTube channel, and was directed by Charlotte Evans. The video features BENEE dancing on stage in a white ruffled dress, performing a dance for what appears to be a her ex-lover in the audience of a theatre. BENEE is also accompanied by a giant rabbit, as well as being shown with clown makeup on. As of August 2020, the video has 888 thousand views, as well as 23 thousand likes.
