“Xanadu” is the title song from a 1980’s film of the same name. The track was produced by music group Electric Light Orchestra’s Jeff Lyne, with vocals done by the late Olivia Newton-John.

Olivia Newton-John also starred in the “Xanadu” film, as well as being part of its soundtrack. The disco-pop song sees Newton-John discuss a place called “Xanadu”, a dream land where she references intense emotions of love and sadness come together, but ending with a feeling of satisfaction at being in this dream land.

The music video was released in 1980, and was uploaded by a YouTube user by the name of “sacha oudot” on the 29th March 2016. On the 11th August 2022, the video had a total of 14.8 million views.
