STORY OF SONG
A classic Christmas song by legend McCartney, recorded during the sessions for his solo project McCartney II, these sessions took place at his farm where he would stay there to make music. In the music video, members of ‘Wings’ appear with McCartney although they didn’t feature on the song. In an interview with NME McCartney said: “We went out to some pub somewhere, and so that was a laugh… we just run out of the pub occasionally, filmed a bit, and then went back into the pub. So that was quite a nice evening!” McCartney still receives royalties from cover versions for his song that reach 400.000 US Dollars annually.
