“The Wonder of You” is the fifth track from Elvis Presley’s live album “On Stage”, released in 1970. “The Wonder of You” was originally written by Baker Knight in 1958, and first released as a single in 1959 by Ray Peterson.
“The Wonder of You” is a slow rock and roll track, where Presley sings about his love an adoration for his lover, and how they make life better by just smiling. Eventually, the song was adopted by English football club Port Vale, as well as Arsenal Football Club adopting the song as their opening anthem when they were moved to the Emirates Stadium.
There is no official music video for “The Wonder of You”, but in March 2014 and audio video was uploaded to Elvis Presley’s official YouTube channel. As of late July 2020, the video has 3.1 million views and over 17 thousand likes.
