Madison Beer

Album Life Support

“Selfish” is the second official single from American singer-songwriter Madison Beer and her upcoming debut album, “Life Support”. The track was written by Beer, Kinetics, JRM, Big Taste and Lowell, with Beer and Big Taste also in charge of production on the track.

“Selfish” is a pop-electronic song about an on and off relationship, where Beer describes her the man’s selfish actions and his wrongdoings. The song is rumoured to be about Beer’s on and off ex-boyfriend Zack Bia, whom she dated for two years. The couple ran into some media trouble after they were filmed having an argument outside a restaurant in Los Angeles.

The music video for “Selfish” was uploaded to Beer’s YouTube on the 14th February 2020. Beer and Jason Lester directed the video, featuring Beer in a cut out khaki catsuit, singing to a camera with a black background, crying and reminiscing. The video ends with rain, and Beer lying in a puddle on the ground. The video currently has over 15 million views since its upload as well as well over 607 thousand likes.
