I Ain’t Worried

“I Ain’t Worried” is the second and final single for the film “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022), which is sung by American pop-rock band OneRepublic.

Sampling Peter Bjorn And John’s 2006 hit “Young Folks”, “I Ain’t Worried” urges listeners to not sit idly while life goes by but to always be active and pro-active in their life, and getting rid of any worries and simply living life.

Speaking to various radio stations such as iHeartRadio and On Air with Ryan Seacrest, frontman of OneRepublic Ryan Tedder revealed that song was written with “the characters in mind relaxing and having fun in the scene for the first time in those two hours of film”. The track received extremely high praise, with critics noting Tedder’s vocal ability and the song’s relaxed and sunny feel.

“I Ain’t Worried” is certified Gold in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, as well as Silver in the UK.

The official music video for the song was released on OneRepublic’s YouTube channel on the 13th May 2022. As of the 30th August 2022, the video had a total of 48.4 million views.
