“Breaking Me” is the 2019 hit house track by German producer Topic and Swedish singer A7S (Alexander Tidebrink), Topic produced the song, alongside writing it with AS7, Molly Irvine and René Miller.
“Breaking Me” is a house song that discusses heartbreak and the pain of a breakup. According to an interview with Topic in May 2020 with Kiss Radio, Topic states that the song “is about a situation in a relationship with a certain dependency, in which one always gives a little more and “breaks” because of that”.
The music video for “Breaking Me” was released on the 19th December 2019 and was directed by Daniel Priess. The video features shots of Topic interloped with videos of dancer Dilara perfrorming a chreographed dance to the track. As of late July 2020, the video has 38.1 million views and 355 thousand likes.
