BED

“BED” is the February 2021 house release from British DJ Joel Corry, British singer-songwriter RAYE and French DJ David Guetta. Released through Perfect Havoc and Asylum, “BED” is an upbeat house track about missing someone and wishing they were in your bed.

Speaking to the Official Charts Company, Joel Corry revelaed the creation of the song started in summer 2020 in a studio session with singer-songwriter Janée “Jin Jin” Bennett. Corry then proceeded to contact RAYE through Instagram after hearing some of her demos: “she told me that she wrote the idea with David Guetta. I got in contact with David and he was happy for me to work on it with Raye. Me and Raye hit the studio together and developed the rest of the song. Fast forward eight months and we are ready to release “BED” to the world”.

The music video was directed by Elliot Simpson and was released via Joel Corry’s YouTube channel on the 5th March 2021. The video features RAYE and Corry as scientists at lab creating the perfect human partner, as well as playing the role of the human robots. The video currently has over 10 million views and over 66 thousand likes.
