Story of Song

One of the songwriters, Ed Drewett, penned ‘All Time Low’ intending to record it himself, but was unable to do so because the record label did not rate it; instead, he offered it to The Wanted. In an interview with Orange Music Store, Max George explained the story of the song: “It’s basically about a girl you can’t get out of your mind — whatever you do, you just can’t and it describes how to get up from this all time low.”

In the UK, ‘All Time Low’ topped the Official Charts company, and was certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The song also topped the charts in Scotland, and peaked at number 13 in Ireland. In the US, the song did not enter the Billboard Hot 100, but peaked at number 18 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs. In Germany, it peaked at number 44.
